Therapeutic virtues of pepper;

The types of peppers;

From a culinary point of view, there are two main types of peppers.
Sweet peppers, also called peppers.
This type is usually eaten as a vegetable.
 Hot peppers, which take place mainly as spices.

Using peppers:

For centuries, chillies were used to relieve pain.
When ingested, they release an effect of endorphins.
These are natural painkillers in the body.
They exist in the form of tablets, ointment, powder or infusion.

Nutritional value of peppers:

Fresh peppers are rich in beta carotene and vitamin C.
And so they are assigned various therapeutic properties.
The peppers would protect cardiovascular diseases.
To activating blood circulation by thinning the blood.
And by reducing blood cholesterol levels.
They have a regulating effect on body temperature.
Some say they are aphrodisiac; others tout its digestive properties.
Some varieties are source of alpha-Topopherols, a form of vitamin E.
If they stimulate appetite and digestion, they are not always tolerated.
Especially by those with a fragile digestive system.

Mitigating the burning effect of pepper:

Hot pepper consumption may cause a sharp sensation of heat.
Burning in the mouth, especially among the uninitiated.
The first reflex is often to swallow a good sip of cool water.
But it turns out that this measure is ineffective.
The compound responsible for the spicy taste is not soluble in water.
But in fat.
So it is better to swallow a sip of milk, a piece of cheese.
Or any other food that contains oil or fat!
So eating a banana, or bread crumbs calm the burning effect of pepper.

Warning:

Do not touch your eyes or wounds after handling peppers.
Against indicated in cases of gastritis, hemorrhoids.
